3. What Juntoh is not
Juntoh is not a medical device.
Juntoh does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Juntoh does not replace a doctor, nurse, therapist, counsellor, pharmacist or other qualified health professional.
Juntoh does not decide what condition you have.
Juntoh does not tell you what medication, treatment, test or clinical pathway you need.
Juntoh helps you organise and describe your own experience so you can have clearer conversations with appropriate professionals.
4. Emergency and crisis situations
Juntoh is not an emergency service or crisis service.
Do not use Juntoh if you need urgent help.
If you think you may be in immediate danger, or you may seriously harm yourself or someone else, call emergency services now.
In the UK, call 999 in an emergency.
If you need urgent mental health support in the UK, you may contact:
- Samaritans: 116 123
- SHOUT: text SHOUT to 85258
- NHS 111 for urgent medical advice when it is not a 999 emergency
If you are outside the UK, please contact your local emergency number or crisis service.
5. Asha companion
Asha is an AI-supported companion feature designed to help you reflect, organise your thoughts and prepare for conversations.
Asha may respond to information you choose to share in Juntoh.
Asha is not human. Asha is not a doctor. Asha is not a therapist.
Asha may be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation.
You should not rely on Asha for medical decisions, urgent decisions, diagnosis, treatment, medication advice or crisis support.
If Asha says something that feels wrong, unsafe or unhelpful, stop using that response and speak to an appropriate professional.
6. What Asha is noticing
“What Asha is noticing” is designed to offer gentle reflections based on information you choose to add to Juntoh.
These reflections are not diagnoses, predictions or clinical conclusions.
They are intended only to help you notice patterns that may be worth thinking about or discussing with a professional.
Juntoh may use wording such as “might”, “may”, “worth noticing” or “I might be wrong” because these reflections are not certain.
7. Asha’s Support Topics
Asha’s Support Topics are educational and reflective prompts.
They are not therapy. They are not diagnosis. They are not treatment.
They do not replace professional mental health care, counselling, medical care or crisis support.
The topics may help you think about your experience, emotions, symptoms or appointments, but they should not be treated as clinical advice.
8. Doctor Summary
Doctor Summary helps you turn your own notes, check-ins, journal entries and selected information into a clearer summary for appointments.
Doctor Summary is not a medical record. Doctor Summary is not a diagnosis. Doctor Summary is not written by a clinician.
Doctor Summary is based on information you choose to enter.
You are responsible for checking the Doctor Summary before sharing it with anyone. You should correct anything that is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.
A doctor or clinician may choose whether or not to use the summary.
9. Your notes stay on your device
Juntoh may allow you to record personal information about your health, symptoms, energy, mood, appointments, care contacts and lived experience.
Your notes, check-ins, journal entries and Life Map reflections are stored locally on your device. Juntoh does not keep a central copy of your private notes or your Asha conversations.
When you message Asha, your message is sent securely so a reply can be generated; Juntoh does not keep a copy of that conversation.
Because your information lives on your device, you are responsible for protecting access to your own device. You can export or delete your local information where the app allows this.
You choose what to add. You should not add information you do not want stored on your device, and you should not add anyone else’s personal information unless you have a proper reason and permission to do so.
10. My Care Book and My Care List
My Care Book and My Care List help you store care-related information such as names, organisations, specialties, phone numbers, email addresses, appointment dates, notes and next steps.
These tools are for organisation only. They are not an official medical record.
Juntoh is not responsible for the accuracy of contact details, appointment dates, notes or care information you enter.
You should check details before calling, emailing, attending appointments or sharing information.
11. Backup and restore
Juntoh may provide backup and restore tools so you can save a copy of your data.
Your backup file may contain sensitive health information. You are responsible for storing backup files safely and privately. Do not share your backup file with anyone you do not trust.
Juntoh cannot guarantee that a backup file will always be available, complete, compatible or recoverable.
If Juntoh currently stores data on your device, losing your device, clearing browser data or changing device may affect access to your data unless you have created a backup.
12. Privacy and data protection
Your use of Juntoh is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
Health information may be sensitive personal data.
The Privacy Policy explains what information Juntoh collects, where it is stored, how it is used and what choices you have.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy about how personal data is handled, the Privacy Policy should be read carefully as the main source for data-handling details.
13. User responsibilities

15. Future community or forum features

16. Feedback
If you send feedback, suggestions or feature ideas to Juntoh, you agree that Juntoh may use those ideas to improve the app without owing you payment or ownership rights.

Juntoh, Asha, Pip, the app design, visual style, text, interface, logos, illustrations, features and other materials belong to Juntoh or its licensors unless stated otherwise.
You may use Juntoh for your personal use.
You must not copy, resell, reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit Juntoh or its content without permission.
18. Your content
You keep ownership of the journal notes, check-ins, care details, appointment notes and other personal content you enter into Juntoh.
You give Juntoh permission to process that content only as needed to provide the app features, subject to the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the content you enter and share.
19. Availability and changes
Juntoh may change, suspend, remove or update features at any time.
During beta, features may be incomplete, experimental or changed frequently.
Juntoh may not always be available, error-free or compatible with every device, browser or operating system.
20. Beta use
If you use a beta version of Juntoh, you understand that it may contain bugs, incomplete features, test content or experimental designs.
You should not rely on beta features for urgent, clinical or critical needs.
Please report problems so we can improve the app.
21. Paid features
Juntoh is currently free to use. If paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases are introduced in the future, clear pricing, renewal, cancellation and refund information will be provided before purchase.
Crisis support information, basic safety guidance and urgent signposting should not be paywalled.
22. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juntoh is not responsible for:
- medical decisions you make
- delays in seeking professional help
- reliance on AI-generated or app-generated content
- inaccurate information you enter
- loss of data where you have not created or preserved a backup
- third-party websites or services
- device, browser or network problems
- indirect, incidental or consequential loss
Juntoh is provided to support organisation, reflection and communication. It is not a substitute for professional judgement or care.
23. Ending your use of Juntoh
You may stop using Juntoh at any time.
If the app includes delete or export tools, you may use them to remove or save your data where available.
Juntoh may suspend or restrict access if you misuse the service, breach these Terms or create safety, security or legal risks.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be shown on the website or in the app.
If changes are significant, we may try to give additional notice where practical.
Your continued use of Juntoh after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
25. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If a dispute arises, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless consumer law in your location gives you additional rights.
26. Contact
